John loves to rock! And the challenges of living with cystic fibrosis have not dampened that desire one bit!

When Make-A-Wish volunteers visited the Nashville teen, he told them that his greatest wish was for a Gibson Flying V guitar. (The axe of choice for all of his rock and metal heroes, of course...)

A few weeks later, a limo arrived and they took John to the Gibson Store at Opry Mills, where Gibson president, Dave Berryman presented John with a CHERRY RED FLYING V! Next, the limo headed to Sam Ash Music Store, so he could accessorize his new axe for maximum rock ability.

Because of the Make-A-Wish volunteers and donations from PEOPLE LIKE YOU, John, will spend his summer vacation taking guitar lessons and rocking out on his Flying V, which will give him a much needed diversion from his daily routine of cystic fibrosis therapies.
